Sebastian Errazuriz: Collab Design Excellence Award Winner 2025

Join us at the Philadelphia Art Museum on Thursday, November 20, 2025 to celebrate Sebastian Errazuriz as the recipient of this year’s Collab Design Excellence Award (DEA). Presented annually by Collab and the museum, this award recognizes outstanding contributions to the field of design. 

Errazuriz twists the typical expectations of furniture, lighting, and everyday objects. Embracing humor and appropriation, his one-of-a-kind pieces often have an underlying subtext that goes beyond form and function, extending into the realms of personal narrative, political message, and cultural commentary.

You’ll meet the artist himself and be the first to view Sebastian Errazuriz: Double Take, a mid-career survey presenting 15 years of a multi-hyphenate practice that gives design a conceptual, surrealist blend. The exhibit will be on view from November 22, 2025 through August 16, 2026, curated by Tiffany Lambert, the Lisa Roberts and David Seltzer Curator of Modern and Contemporary Design at PhAM.
